There are a few things you need to know before pursuing a career as a bartender. Something you may not know is that a bartending job may be one of the best ways to recession proof your income.
Many would be bartenders get caught up in the myth of they won't hire me without any experience. Having knowledge about different drinks and being able to create unique drinks according to the various customer's taste and preferences will help increase business. A student of mine became a bartender and doubled his take home income, with no previous bartending experience.
Take all of these into account when creating the working practices in your bar. When a drink is termed sour, it means that it is a short drink made of liquor, lime or lemon juice and sugar. It's simple you can either mix a drink or you can't.
