how to get a bartending - it's all here

In addition to learning how to make drinks, there are several other areas of bar tending that often go unnoticed. The courses in mixology take bartending a little farther than just tending bar.

It will be to your advantage if your bar is in an easily accessible place in the room and make sure that you have enough space behind the bar. You can also start locally; just make some enquiries in the bars or restaurants in your locality to get a break. You ll become familiar with all the names and terms used everyday in bars around the country.

Bartenders should be taught to properly stock and replenish the bar supplies throughout the shift, including ice, liquor, and all mixing supplies. If you have given any references on your resume, inform the persons in question about the referral before hand, because the referrals are always cross checked. Some drinks are heated to add a special touch.

If you go to college and learn the techniques required for bartending, you can make more money than you ever thought possible. This site lays the foundation for beginning your bartending job and job search.
